Bought a house!

After years of complaining, hoping, moaning, and dreaming, we were finally able to buy a home in the San Francisco Bay Area! What a miracle! Thanks to low apr's and the foreclosures in the area we were able to make a dream come true.

The property was a bank owned foreclosure -- and thankfully it wasn't previously owned by some single mother with 5 kids struggling to make ends meet (I don't think we could live with ourselves if that was the case...) -- it was previously a rental property owned by a man who had like 6 homes -- so we didn't feel bad about the purchase in that respect.

Anyhoo, this blog is to show the before, during, and after of this mid-century rancher house.
